Tarot and Color

In the Tarot there is a color system. Mostly the colors are subjective to emotion feelings. However there are some colors that have a universal meaning, red as energy, blue as cool etc. Here is a list of some of the colors on the Tarot cards and a general meaning of what the colors represent.
This can often be subjective, but in general there is a consensus on what a color is implying.
 
Red Color:
Represents excitement, passion, creative energy, love, war, violence, strength, blood, and other concepts associated with intensity or passion. The High Priestess in the Golden Dawn rituals used to wear red ceremonial garments.
 
Flesh Color:
Represents the human existence, unification, living humans and is more representative of quiet pleasantness, while beige suggests a calm simplicity.
 
Yellow Color:
Represents intelligence, joy, spirit, intuition, higher mind, happiness, optimism, imagination, sunshine, gold, and hope. But as with other colors that have double meanings, it can also represent dishonesty, deceit, illness, and hazardousness.
 
Blue Color:
Represents the Unconscious, peace, tranquility, coldness, desire, idealism, calmness, unity, trust and truth. As well as security, loyalty, sky, water, depression, and is an appetite suppressant.
 
Violet Color:
Represents and evokes feelings of royalty, nobility, spirituality, ceremony, wisdom, enlightenment, and mysteriousness.
 
Green Color:
Represents nature, the environment, life force, vitality, healthiness, good luck, youth, hope, spring, generosity, fertility, and renewal, as well as jealousy, inexperience, envy, and misfortune.
 
Brown Color:
Represents earth, stability, hearth and home, the outdoors, reliability, comfort, endurance, asceticism, emotional reserve and simplicity.
 
Grey Color:
Signifies security, intelligence, reliability, modesty, maturity, dignity, practicality, and old age; it can also represent sadness and boredom.
 
White Color:
Represents purity, reverence, transcendance, birth, simplicity, cleanliness, peace, humility, precision, innocence, winter, snow, goodness, sterility, marriage, and coldness.
 
Black Color:
Represents power, sophistication, formality, elegance, sexuality, mystery, and fear, as well as evil, sadness, remorse, anger, anonymity, mourning, and death.
